 Commercial Insurance Account Executive | Sawbridgeworth | Hybrid Working -Full-time |£45,000 – £60,000 DOE + Commission|

An established and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to focus primarily on sales, new enquiries, and re-broking renewals where required. This is a hybrid role suited to a commercially driven individual who can develop new business while managing client relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions.


Basics:

  • Salary £45,000 – £60,000 DOE + commission

  • Hybrid working (2–3 days in office)

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

  • Pension scheme

  • Ongoing professional development support

  • Opportunity to work on complex and specialist risks


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and convert new business opportunities

  • Handle incoming enquiries and develop client relationships

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients

  • Re-broke renewals when required to secure the best terms

  • Negotiate with insurers and place a range of commercial risks

  • Deliver high levels of service and maintain compliance standards


Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in commercial insurance

  • Strong sales and business development focus

  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Good understanding of UK commercial insurance products (e.g. Commercial Combined, Liability, Property, D&O, Professional Indemnity)

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Acturis experience beneficial but not essential

  • Professional qualifications (e.g. ACII) advantageous
